The Baustudio is Swedish designer Malin Baumann in collaboration with husband, videographer Tetsu Koyanagi.

The work of The Baustudio touches the different areas of design, craft and art. Typical though, is the hand made process and our central theme of "Significance Recycle"; Changing the setting of well known objects by placing them into new contexts, opening up for a change of value and new ways of usage and perception.
We find it refreshing to see an item, shape or idea used in a different way than what was originally intended.
